About Us

Mark Green began his career in 1971 as a wedding photographer. In August of 1975, he and his wife, Michelle, opened a studio in their home and began providing children, family and senior portraits to the area.

The business quickly outgrew their home and needed to move. In 1978, their first full retail location was on the west side of Bad Axe. The additional space allowed for complete custom framing services to be provided to the area. July of 1980 found Green’s moving to a larger studio in Northgate Shopping Center. Five years later, the current studio was built a few doors down.

Mark and his wife, Michelle, have been married since 1975. They have raised two children, Lisa and Brian. Both graduated from Bad Axe High School and Saginaw Valley State University. Throughout their high school and college years, Lisa and Brian worked in the family business. Lisa and her husband Taggart Town were married in October of 2002. Their first child, Oliver, was born in July 2006. They live in Grand Rapids. Brian currently lives in Royal Oak and works in Birmingham.
